Ayres Hotel Manhattan Beach/Hawthorne, at 14400 Hindry Ave in Hawthorne, welcomes pet travelers with up to two pets per room, generally weighing 50 pounds or less each. Dogs and cats are accepted for a nonrefundable pet fee of about $75 per stay. Pet-friendly rooms are limited, so I recommend reserving in advance and confirming current rules directly with the hotel before arrival. Pets should be supervised, and guests may need to crate them if left alone in the room. A nearby outdoor relief area makes quick walks easier after a flight or day exploring the South Bay.
